Em Kei is an artist and designer with a multidisciplinary background in fine art, graphic design, photography, costume and product design. Her field of interest lies in the space between those practices. She lives and works in Athens, Greece and London, UK. Her artworks, mainly in the form of installations and mixed media sculptures, utilise every-day and found objects and alter their properties to create a new identity that often remains vague and unsettled. A multi-reversed practise of turning digital into physical and back to digital is often used to create false impressions and an illusionary, pumped up materiality going from the real to the super-real and back again.
